Eric Kuhn graduated from Wesleyan University in 1981 and has been an area musician ever since. He has been musical director for numerous Oddfellows Playhouse Youth Theater productions- everything from Hair to As You Like It- and composed original scores and lyrics for many of them. Currently he is musical director for the Middletown Children's Circus. In this role he arranges, teaches, and directs two hours of non-stop live music with a band of a dozen players, many of whom are young musicians. Eric has played with a number of area bands including China Doll, The Bus, and Jason Smith Quintet wedding band.
He has been the director of, and player/singer with the Eric Kuhn Group, an 8 piece ensemble devoted to his original music.

Eric plays bass, guitar, keyboards, sings, and composes. His major influences are the blues, American songbook (jazz standards), folk, rock, and reggae.
